About

A Thoughtful, Experienced
Partner
for Your Family
I am a Licensed Educational Psychologist with decades of experience supporting children, families, and school teams.
Born and raised in the Santa Barbara area, I have worked with children since my early college years in the mid-1990s. My background includes more than 12 years as a school psychologist and three years as a school administrator, supporting students with a wide range of learning, emotional, and behavioral needs
Much of my work has focused on children with emotional and behavioral challenges, including years in specialized programs supporting students with more serious behavior needs. I have extensive graduate-level training in applied behavior analysis and hands-on experience working within real school systems.
For over 12 years, I have also served as a Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) Certified Trainer, teaching adults how to respond to challenging behavior with calm, proactive, and supportive strategies. My work emphasizes how the brain responds to stress and how adult responses can reduce escalation and support regulation.
Assessment is a central part of my practice. I am deeply interested in how individual brains process information, where strengths naturally emerge, and how challenges can affect learning and behavior. My goal is always to translate complex information into clear, practical guidance families can use with confidence.
On a personal level, I am part of a blended family raising four children together with my partner”.
